Omarion wants DDG and Halle Bailey to remember how they used to feel about each other amidst their custody battle.
Omarion gave his thoughts about the ex-couple’s dispute while speaking with TMZ. Omarion, who has two children with Apryl Jones and is familiar with relationship issues, expressed the importance of being respectful.
“Time heals, you know,” he explained. “I think it’s important to always remain respectful and understand that y’all basically went 100/100 with creating something.”
Although they aren’t seeing eye to eye now, Omarion suggested that they recall how they used to feel.
“Just remember you used to love each other, it’s important,” he added.
On June 4, DDG filed an emergency motion to prevent Bailey from taking their son Halo out of the country, claiming that the singer posed an “imminent emotional and psychological risk” to their child.

In court documents obtained by Complex, DDG claimed that Bailey utilized tracking accessories to monitor his whereabouts. He also alleged that the singer physically assaulted him and submitted alleged text messages between them both, which appear to display her accusing him of cheating and threatening to commit self-harm.
Bailey responded to DDG’s motion by explaining why she needed to be out of the country to the court.
“I must be on set in Italy to film a movie,” Bailey said in court documents she filed in response. “I am contractually bound to be there from June 7, 2025 to August 4, 2025. Darryl has known about this work obligation for months. This is my source of income, on which Halo and I rely to pay all bills.
“Darryl has not contributed any regular support since Halo was born,” she continued. “I will be held liable for damages to this film if I am not there, which I believe would be a breach of my contract. I cannot leave Halo with Darryl, as Darryl will be out of town a majority of those months. Halo is also a protected person by the Court’s Temporary Restraining Order.”
The judge denied DDG’s request a day later.
In response to the bitter custody battle and the fame that’s come with it, DDG hopped on X and compared himself to Michael Jackson, writing, “Now i know how michael jackson felt being famous.. Shit crazy.”
