Native Instruments has released Komplete 26, the latest version of its flagship production collection.
The bundle brings together over 190 instruments and effects with more than 180,000 sounds, including professional mixing tools from iZotope and Brainworx. It’s available in four paid tiers, ranging from $99 for Select up to $1,949 for Collector’s Edition.
Several new instruments arrive with this update. Absynth 6 joins the collection for the first time. The semi-modular synthesizer is known for its evolving tones and is an excellent addition to the synthesis lineup.
Noire and Claire are two new sample libraries built from rare grand pianos, and Moments: Vocal Clouds adds ethereal vocal soundscapes suited to atmospheric and cinematic production.
The collection covers a variety of music styles.
For hip-hop and beat production, Marco Polo Drums brings raw boom-bap style drum kits. LCO Producer Strings, recorded with the London Contemporary Orchestra, give you versatile string parts built to work across genres. The Definitive Electric Keys Collection covers some harder-to-find vintage electric keyboard sounds, and the Scene Series is a toolkit for composers working to picture.
The synthesis lineup is also strong and covers various types of synthesis.
Massive X handles modern sound design, FM8 covers classic FM textures, and Reaktor 6 is there for producers who want to build their own instruments from scratch. Battery 4, Guitar Rig 7 Pro, and Playbox are also in the bundle.
Kontakt 8 is the main sampler in the collection. It offers built-in tools for chords, phrases, groove, and arrangement. The latest update adds Aftertouch support, giving compatible controllers polyphonic aftertouch expression across Kontakt instruments.
Mixing and mastering tools come from iZotope and Brainworx. Ozone 12 Elements handles mastering, Nectar 4 Elements covers vocals, and bx_console AMEK 200 provides console emulation. FXEQ, Trash, and bx_glue round out the included effects.
Komplete 26 works seamlessly with Native Instruments’ Kontrol keyboards and Maschine hardware, and supports NKS-compatible controllers from Arturia, Akai Professional, Novation, Korg, Nektar, and M-Audio.
Komplete 26 is available now. Select is $99, Standard is $549, Ultimate is $1,249, and Collector’s Edition is $1,949. Update pricing starts at $149 for Komplete 15 Standard users, with additional loyalty pricing available through the Native Instruments website.
Komplete Start remains free for those looking to get started.
