Fat Joe gave his thoughts about Joe Budden being seated near 50 Cent while beefing — suggesting that the podcast host should always expect that one of his enemies would sit in the front row ahead of him.
Joe reacted to Budden and Fif’s seating debacle on a recent episode of his new Joe & Jada podcast by suggesting that a similar situation couldn’t happen to him now. “I gotta be front row,” claimed Fat Joe before giving second and third row seats a new name: “We call them the Joe Budden seats.”
“He got a good seat but you always gotta expect that the enemy might come front row,” continued Fat Joe. The rapper then explained how he’d experienced a similar situation with none other than Fif himself.
“I’m going to a Babyface concert,” recalled Fat Joe. “Once again, Fifty is the culprit. We just squashed the beef, everybody’s cool. I’m second row…the man comes and sits in the row right in front of me.”
In April, Fif and Budden both attended the Knicks and Pistons playoff game at Madison Square Garden. The two had been previously at odds after Budden suggested that Fif needed therapy and the latter followed up by trolling him endlessly. Fif posted a picture of him sitting a row in front of Budden who looked a little spooked (if we’re being honest). Fif’s accompanying picture caption captured the tone of his devilish grin: “I ran into Joe at the game, he said I don’t need Therapy No MORE!”
Fif’s right-hand man Tony Yayo expressed the horror that flew across his brow and chilled him to the bone when he saw that Fif and Budden were in the same venue. “I was scared for Joe Budden,” Yayo claimed. He then revealed that he didn’t think anything serious would happen because of where they were.
“At the same time, it’s the playoffs. You’re paying attention to the game,” the G-Unit member explained. “Madison Square Garden is like the airport. If you pop off there, you’re banned forever. It’s not a place you want to get into an altercation. You’re courtside. You start a fight there, you’re gonna make the news.”
