At pointblank, we pride ourselves on being deeply connected to the music industry. We’ve teamed up with industry leaders Plugin Boutique and Excite Audio to host a special evening with Grammy Award-winning producer Mura Masa at our London campus on Thursday, 22 January 2026. This free event will unravel the creative process behind his music, break down a track from his new album ‘Curve 1’, and even feature live feedback on music submitted by you. Plus, you’ll get an exclusive look at a brand-new plugin created in collaboration with Mura Masa, and plenty of time to mingle with fellow producers. Book your spot here.

Event Highlights

1. Live Feedback Session: We’re kicking things off with something you don’t get every day: a live feedback session with Mura Masa himself. Ahead of the event, we’re running the Mura Masa Beat Challenge.  It’s simple: make a beat using Bloom Mura Masa Lite in your project, then submit it for a chance to have it played and reviewed live on the night.

2. Curve 1 Track Breakdown: Ever wondered how a hit track comes together? Mura Masa will share insights into one of the songs from his latest album Curve 1, dissecting its layers and production secrets right before your eyes. It’s a rare chance to see how a world-class producer transforms an idea into a polished, dancefloor-ready tune.

3. Bloom Mura Masa Fireside Chat + Q&A: After a quick breather, Mura Masa will join Excite Audio’s Solo Major to introduce Bloom Mura Masa, which is their brand-new collaborative plugin, packed with sounds from the Curve 1 sessions. You’ll hear how the collaboration came together, how creative routines become actual tools, and then it’s over to you with a Q&A. So, bring the questions you’ve been saving.

4. Networking: We’ll close the night with an informal networking session. Connect with Mura Masa, the Plugin Boutique and Excite Audio teams, as well as fellow producers and pointblank students. Whether you’re swapping SoundCloud links or just chatting over a cold White Claw (courtesy of drinks sponsors), this is the perfect chance to build new connections in a fun, relaxed setting.
