Bjooks returns to Dutch Modular Fest this Saturday at WORM in Rotterdam — the very event where the acclaimed PATCH & TWEAK book was originally launched in 2018.
Now, Bjooks is back to celebrate the growing PATCH & TWEAK Club community.
Festival attendees will have the chance to meet Bjooks founder and author Kim Bjørn, who will be on site for meet & greets and to personally sign copies of Bjooks titles, including PATCH & TWEAK, The Minimoog Book, and Synth Gems 1. This is a unique opportunity to speak with the mind behind the movement and collect signed editions in an inspiring, creative atmosphere.
Dutch Modular Fest takes place on Saturday September 6th, 2025, from 12:30-22:00, at WORM in Rotterdam.
Festival activities include:
- Music: Dutch Modular Fest has carefully selected a wide-ranging musical lineup to enjoy at WORM’s main concert space. Artists include: Julian Edwardes, Skander Jaïbi & Ines Kooli, Chebedahja, Maj Rachel, Cinematic Laboratory, and, returning to WORM, Animistic Beliefs.
- Talks: Rikkert Achtereekte, founder of Voltmeister, will lead a three-part masterclass: The History of Electronic Sound, which explores the well-known and lesser-known figures, instruments, and techniques from the global early history of electronic music.
- Makers Market: Meet passionate creators, explore unique gear, get hands-on demos, and dive into expert tips. There will be around 30 maker booths showcased in The Makers market in WORM’s theatre space, UBIK (Boomgaardsstraat 69).
- DIY Workshops: There will be a DIY solder workshop in WORM’s Pirate Bay space (Boomgaardsstraat 71), where attendees can learn to build gear with guidance from friendly experts. No experience needed!
Come celebrate modular culture where it all began for Bjooks, reconnect with the community, and experience the next chapter of PATCH & TWEAK.
