Beyoncé gave fans a night to remember by giving their gender reveal an audience of tens of thousands, notably while onstage for the latest stop on her Cowboy Carter Tour.
As seen in fan-shared footage, including a clip posted to Tina Knowles’ Instagram on Wednesday, the moment in question went down during the fourth night of the 35-time Grammy winner’s run at East Rutherford’s MetLife Stadium. In one clip, Beyoncé is seen first noticing a handwritten sign about the then-hopeful gender reveal, at which point she urged the fans to “hold on” until later into the show.
“I’ll be back,” she said.
Later, Beyoncé kept her word by tracking down the handwritten sign again and carrying out its wishes, calling this “a once-in-a-lifetime gender reveal” to expectedly uproarious applause.

“I had to take my time,” Beyoncé said as she grabbed and proceeded to open up an envelope, thus revealing the baby is a boy.
“God bless you,” she added. “Congratulations. Thank you so much for letting me be a part of it. I’m keeping this!”
A comment left on Knowles’ post about the mid-show moment is claimed to be from the couple themselves. In it, Beyoncé is profusely thanked for having “made our lives” with this gesture.
Longtime fans will note that this isn’t the first time Beyoncé has been enlisted to carry out a fan’s gender reveal while in the middle of a live performance. A similar moment made headlines during the singer’s Renaissance World Tour back in 2023.
