Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift are no strangers to attention — but the Kansas City Chiefs star insists that now, as they both enjoy some rare downtime, they’re not chasing the spotlight and pining for their fawning fans.
Kelce opened up about his current priorities with the global pop iconic during an appearance on the Bussin’ With the Boys podcast, which dropped Tuesday, July 1.
“It gets thrown out there, like we’re trying to seek attention every now and then,” Kelce said. Instead, he noted, “We’re just enjoying life and having fun going to hockey games, kinda introducing her to some more of the sports world.”
Last month, the couple, both 35, were spotted out in Nashville while Kelce was in town for Tight End University, the immersive three-day training program he co-founded for fellow athletes four years ago.

Swift went viral and made headlines during the trip when she thrilled fans — and Kelce — with a surprise live performance of “Shake It Off” at the Tight End & Friends concert on June 24 at Brooklyn Bowl.
The two have also been spending quality time with each other in Boca Raton, Florida, where Kelce has been busy training during the offseason. And on June 12, they were spotted in attendance at Game 4 of the Stanley Cup Finals at Amerant Bank Arena in Sunrise, Florida.
This falls marks a new chapter for the couple. When Kelce returns to the field for the NFL season in September, Swift — for the first time since their relationship began — will not be traveling the world on her record-smashing Eras Tour. “We’ll have Tay representing up at Arrowhead [Stadium]” in Kansas City, Missouri, Kelce said on Bussin’ With the Boys.
