The Vienna Symphonic Library has launched a new solo string virtual instrument. Meticulously sampled in the large Stage A of the company’s own Vienna Synchron Stage and performed by acclaimed violist Anna Firsanova, Synchron Solo Viola is the third release in the Synchron Solo Strings series.
This new release captures the natural flow of captivating viola performances, recorded on Stage A of Vienna’s renowned Synchron Stage. With a wide range of expressive articulations, multiple stage positions (solo, 1st chair, center), and 11 microphone setups, it offers flexibility, heightened realism and musical expressivity. Production-ready mix presets ensure a polished sound right out of the box.
Synchron Solo Viola is currently available at an introductory price of $156 USD (regular $209 USD) for the Standard Library and $219 USD (regular $293 USD) for the Full Library, which comes with additional microphone positions.
Customers who purchase or have registered all three currently available Collections (Synchron Solo Violin, Solo Viola, Solo Cello) will get the fourth instalment in the series, Synchron Solo Violin 2, for free upon its release in early July.
The Austrian company has also launched the „Summer of Strings” promotion with major discounts on all of its string collections – from the Synchron Series and Studio Series to the Big Bang Orchestra String Packs.
The offer is available at the VSL store and from distributors Best Service and PluginFox.
