Toontrack has introduced a new MIDI pack for its EZkeys virtual instrument. The Contemporary Country expansion is inspired by modern country music.
These days, country music goes way beyond boot stomps, steel guitars and banjos – it’s an amalgam of a wide range of sounds and styles. A verse can be rapped, a drum machine beat lead the rhythm section or a synth trade off with a fiddle – anything goes. At the heart of this ever-evolving sound, however, is a deeply rooted tradition that makes any country song sound country, no matter how you spin it.
This MIDI pack for EZkeys explores this exhilarating sound and the role the piano plays in it. Expect classic melodies, strong rhythms and big pop hooks, all wrapped in that mysteriously familiar country patina that can’t be washed away, dusted off or brushed aside.
