Suge Knight called on Diddy to expose others involved in alleged misconduct, saying the Hip-Hop industry needs accountability beyond one man’s trial.
Suge Knight wants Diddy to come clean—and not just for himself.
Speaking from a California prison, the former Death Row Records boss told ABC News that Diddy should reveal the full extent of who was involved in the alleged sex parties and misconduct now under federal scrutiny.
“I think it’d be a great thing to let Puffy tell his truth. Tell the real truth, and bring everybody accountable,” Knight said during a phone interview.
Diddy is currently facing federal charges in New York City, including sex trafficking, racketeering and coercion.
The trial, which began Monday (May 12), has already featured testimony from key witnesses like former assistant Cassie Ventura, Capricorn Clark and an assistant using the pseudonym “Mia,” who described a pattern of abuse and manipulation.
Suge Knight, who is serving a 28-year sentence for a 2015 hit-and-run, said the problem goes far beyond one man.
“Puffy didn’t just pop in the industry and say ‘hey, I want to have sex with everybody,’” Suge Knight said. “I mean, we don’t have enough time to name all the names.”
Knight’s remarks come as the Hip-Hop world reckons with a growing list of allegations tied to power, exploitation and silence. The incarcerated mogul believes Diddy’s trial could be a turning point—if the truth is fully told.
“It’s a long list of people in the industry that’s unhappy because of the things they were being put through. And that’s the sad part about it,” Knight added.
Knight, once Diddy’s rival during the East Coast–West Coast feud of the 1990s, now says the focus should be on transparency and accountability.
Diddy has denied all allegations and has not been criminally charged in connection with some of the civil lawsuits filed against him.
However, the federal case continues to unfold in court.
