Sonixinema has announced the release of a new Kontakt instrument library featuring bold and rebellious cello textures. Archetypes features contemporary movements, gestures, suspensions and statements performed by Joe Zeitlin.
Captured in an intimate studio environment, the library explores everything from delicate harmonics and murmuring trills to aggressive scrapes, overtone swipes, and cello body percussion.
Archetypes was performed and recorded by visionary cellist, Joe Zeitlin, who is known for his work on Nosferatu and Agatha Christie’s ‘Poirot’. Featuring a bold, rebellious range of Movements, Gestures, Suspensions and Statements, this library allows you to explore raw, moving cello textures that are perfect for creating contemporary scores and productions.
Archetypes contains 75 articulations, 84 custom presets and a ‘Warp’ control to take your sound to another dimension. Available for the full version of Kontakt 8.1.0 or higher, the library is on sale for the intro price of £92 GBP for a limited time (regular £115 GBP). The offer expires September September 18th, 2025.
