Milagro Gramz secured two new attorneys ahead of a looming court deadline in her ongoing defamation battle with Megan Thee Stallion, avoiding a potential default judgment in federal court.
Facing a June 12 cutoff to retain legal counsel or risk losing the case, Gramz—whose legal name is Milagro Elizabeth Cooper—added both a local and federal attorney to her defense team.
Attorney Jeremy McLymont of AsiliA Law Firm in Miami officially filed his notice of appearance as co-counsel, joining Ronda Dixon, who is handling electronic filings.
The lawsuit, filed in October 2024, accuses Milagro Gramz of defamation, cyberstalking, and harassment.
Megan Thee Stallion alleges Gramz spread false claims online about the Tory Lanez shooting case, including accusations that Megan committed perjury and was mentally unstable.
The court has already ruled that Gramz’s statements were not protected opinion or journalism but instead qualify as defamatio under Florida law.
That ruling allowed the case to move forward toward trial.
Gramz’s legal situation became precarious after her previous attorneys withdrew from the case.
On May 15, the court granted her local counsel’s request to step down. Less than two weeks later, on May 27, her pro hac vice attorney also exited the case.
