Megan Thee Stallion is gearing up to open her own Popeyes restaurant.
On Tuesday, the H-Town Hottie shared a video to her social media accounts touring the construction site of her upcoming Popeyes brick and mortar location, which TMZ reports will open in Miami.
“MY VERY OWN @popeyes IS OPENING THIS SUMMER HOTTIES [fire emoji] I just visited my location while she’s still just bones … This is abt to be THEE LITTEST Popeyes ever,” Meg wrote in the caption for her video.
“It’s just bones, but in a few months, it’ll be chickens,” she joked.
Elsewhere in the two-minute clip, Megan is seen donning a white crop top, cargo pants, and a bright orange construction hat while chatting with construction workers about window placements and kitchen plans. One man notes there will be “speakers all over the place.”
Popeyes first announced Megan as a future franchise owner in 2021. Later that year, the company launched co-branded merch and a limited edition Hottie Sauce.
“I’m appreciative of Popeyes’ commitment to empowering Black women and look forward to opening Popeyes Restaurants,” Megan said at the time. “Teaming up with Popeyes is such a milestone in my journey and evolution as an entrepreneur.”
More details about the restaurant, such as an opening date, are yet to come.
