IK Multimedia has kicked off its December AmpliTube 5 CS giveaway, and it’s a huge one, with six guitar gear module giveaways.
IK’s AmpliTube 5 CS is a free guitar and bass workstation, and a 64-bit exclusive release for macOS and Windows.
The gear freebies for December 2025 are the Fender ’65 Deluxe Reverb head, Fender ’65 Deluxe Reverb 1×12 cab, Mesa Boogie California Tweed head, Mesa Boogie 2×12 California Tweed cab, Dcomp stomp, and X-Chorus stomp.
The Fender and Mesa Boogie models are all officially certified. The stomps are not, and are based on the following pedals: MXR Dynacomp (Dcomp) and MXR M134 (X-Chorus).
IK Multimedia really wanted to mark the end of the year with a bang, as this six-piece giveaway is the biggest AmpliTube 5 CS promo yet, that I can recall.
Now, let’s dig into what IK is offering in December.
The Fender ‘65 Deluxe Reverb and matching 1×12 cab is a 1993 Fender reissue of their classic ‘60s offering.
It delivers that bright, sparkling, distinctive Fender sound that we all know and love, which is suitable across many genres such as jazz, blues, rock, indie, and much more.
The Mesa Boogie California Tweed and matching 2×12 cab is a single-channel release that offers plenty of dynamic, sparkling sounds, based on the sounds of Fender’s ‘50s Tweed amps.
Now moving onto the stomps. The Dcomp, based on MXR’s Dynacomp, offers a vintage, colored compression effect for adding sustain, presence, and thickness.
The X-Chorus, based on MXR’s M134 Stereo Chorus, gives flexible chorus sounds straight from 1979, with the ability to add shimmer and dynamic modulation.
As always, IK has attempted to restrict this giveaway to new signups for December. However, I’m glad to report that there is a workaround that lets existing users claim these monthly freebies.
To get the gear giveaways as an existing user, open IK Multimedia Product Manager, unauthorize your copy of AmpliTube 5 CS, and then re-authorize it. It may also help to click on ‘refresh your purchases’.
Note that this method only works if the device you’re using is the only one currently authorized for Amplitube 5 CS.
If you have a dead device that still has an old authorization for Amplitube 5 CS on it, there’s unfortunately no way to work around it.
This is the final giveaway for the year. On January 2, 2026, IK Multimedia will give away three additional bundles of hardware/software freebies for all users who installed AmpliTube 5 CS during the 2025 promotion.
