Native Instruments has announced an update to the Cremona Quartet Solo virtual instrument by e-instruments.
A free update, version 2.0 heightens the realism of the four iconic Cremona string instruments with the introduction of True Vibrato – recorded vibrato performances from professional musicians captured in the iconic Auditorium Arvedi in Cremona, Italy.

Cremona 2.0 offers the best of both worlds. The new True Vibrato brings a profound emotional depth to the Virtuoso, Sustain, and Marcato playing styles with their recorded true vibrato articulations. Meanwhile, the Flex Vibrato retains the Cremona’s signature performance-captured control and flexibility, now enhanced with smoother legato transitions and an improved overall sound.

This update applies to the Cremona Quartet Solo, Stradivari Violin and Stradivari Cello, providing a comprehensive upgrade for all these instruments.

- 24 GB of new sample content (6 GB per instrument).
- Four new NKIs per instrument: True and Flex Vibrato in both stereo and multi-mic versions.
- True recorded vibrato for Virtuoso, Sustain, and Marcato articulations.
- Reworked legato transitions for enhanced realism.
- The update ensures full Kontakt 7.10.7 compatibility and backwards compatibility with existing sessions.
