Decent Samples has announced the release of some new free sample libraries.
- Cavaquinho: A Cavaquinho is a small, four-stringed instrument from Brazil that is similar to a ukulele. This sample library features 3 round-robin samples per note, with 2 velocity layers.
- Broken Piano by ZQ SFX: Broken Piano is a free, character-rich Decent Sampler instrument recorded in an old church, featuring mic blending, drive types, and atmospheric effects for lo-fi and cinematic textures.
- Cat Toy Drums (Free Version): This is the free edition of Cat Toy Drums, which includes a subset of the kits from the full version. It is a great way to try out the library before you buy.
Additionally, almost everything in the Decent Samples Store is available at a 30% discount as part of a Summer Sale. The Refractions plugin which samples and re-sequences audio in real-time is on sale for $29 USD during the promotion (regular $99 USD).
