Clipse found themselves this week coming face to face with a Labubu doll for what appears to be the first time — and the exchange was pretty wholesome.
A TikTok video of the two brothers having their pictures taken shared on Thursday (July 17) sees Pusha T and Malice have an intense stare-off with the viral doll. Neither of them seem sure of what to think of the Labubu, but they look alarmed, scared even. Malice, in particular, doesn’t want to take his eyes off the doll, which is sporting a “Patty Cake Man” tee.

Although Labubu dolls launched in 2019, they have invaded pop culture ever since last fall, and now, style icons like Rihanna, Dua Lipa and Marc Jacobs have all been spotted with them as bag accessories.
The love celebrities have shown to Labubu dolls in recent years has driven them to be an immensely successful trend, so much so, that Pop Mart, the Chinese toy firm that created them, has revealed its profits are set to soar for the first six months of this year.
According to BBC News, the company announced it expects its profits for the time period to jump by at least 350 percent.
The jury’s out on whether the Clipse will be the latest icons to embrace Labubu dolls — but they are embracing the fact that they rap about one thing very well.
During a recent appearance on the Joe & Jada podcast, Pusha responded to critics who say the duo only rap about cocaine. “Rap has always come from a very real place,” said Pusha. “What that being said, being in it 23 years, I feel like at this point, I liken it to somebody who loves mob movies.”
“I don’t watch horror, I watch A&E,” Pusha continued. “It’s scarier because I believe it. I liken my music to that as well. You can’t please everybody, but 23 years in this, I’m not trying to please nobody but myself.”
