On the third day of Sean “Diddy” Combs’ sex trafficking trial, his ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura revealed the amount of her initial settlement with the disgraced music mogul.
In November 2023, Cassie filed a lawsuit against Combs, alleging rape, sex trafficking and physical abuse. The singer intended to publish a book detailing their tumultuous relationship.
In less than 24 hours, reports came out that the pair settled for an undisclosed amount. Two years later, Cassie revealed the exact figure they settled for.
“It settled for $20 million in 24 hours,” Cassie said in court on Wednesday.
When asked why she was testifying in the current trial even after settling, Cassie said, “I can’t carry this anymore. What’s wrong is wrong. I tried people like they were disposable. Escorts, anybody.”

Earlier in her testimony, the 38-year-old said Combs put her through “shame.”
“I took on a lot of responsibility for that that I never should have,” she recalled. “He brought the concept to me when I was 22. It was expected of me. I felt terrible.”
Cassie and Combs dated from 2007 to 2018. Following the lawsuit and settlement, CNN obtained video footage of Combs assaulting Cassie in a hotel hallway, forcing the music mogul to backtrack on his initial denial of the abuse.
The trial marks the first time the pair has seen each other since their breakup. Among those that testified included one of the escorts Combs hired as part of his drug-fueled “freak-offs.” Cassie supported their claims, alleging he would hire them to get high. In one shocking moment from the trial, it was alleged that he made male escorts urinate in Cassie’s mouth to the point of her choking.
