Brian McKnight is taking legal action against singer Jaguar Wright after she made several accusations against him.
As reported by TMZ, McKnight is suing Wright for defamation after she accused the singer-songwriter of abusing his ex-wife, Julie McKnight, and hiring sex workers for the express purpose of abusing them. Wright also said Julie McKnight is related to her.
Brian McKnight has denied the accusations against him and said that he was unaware that Wright is allegedly related to his ex-wife.
Wright has earned a reputation for making unfounded claims about major celebrities. Wright, a singer from Philadelphia who previously made appearances on MTV Unplugged and The Roots Come Alive, appeared on Piers Morgan’s Uncensored last year and hit against Jay-Z and Beyoncé.

Wright described Jay as a “monster” who “starts little fires everywhere,” and said that she is owed “vindication” for what he’s supposedly done to her and others.
“This has been a fist of tyranny that has been punching through our culture and society for decades,” Wright said at the time. “It must stop. … They’re a nasty little couple. They do nasty things. Keeping people against their will, putting people on planes while they’re unconscious.”
During that same appearance on Uncensored, Wright also made allegations against Sean “Diddy” Combs. Following the episode, some of her comments were edited out of the versions of her appearance available online, and Morgan issued an apology for offering her a platform to spread baseless claims.
