Bow Wow wants Jermaine Dupri and Janet Jackson to get back together.
During a new Club Shay Shay interview, Bow expressed his hopes for Dupri and Jackson to spin the block. The exes, who are now friends, dated from 2002 to 2009, with the So So Def founder co-producing Jackson’s albums 20 Y.O. and Discipline.
Around the 1:42:00 mark of the video below, Bow told Shannon Sharpe that Ashanti and Nelly’s reconciliation was one of the “greatest” spin the block moments. When asked about Dupri and Jackson potentially getting back together, Bow said, “I do want that to happen.”
Bow also gushed that Jackson is the “sweetest, coolest person ever.” “It’s like the best stepmom you can have. So sweet…and could be in the midst of the guys and it’s whatever.”
Bow also recounted a time watching Jackson, who he called “Ms. Janet,” washing dishes and casually driving herself to pick up tacos.

“Ms. Jan, man, was everything,” he continued. “You know it was somebody special when the person and the other person break up and you mad at your homie. That’s how we all was with JD. Like, ‘Damn, man, get it back together, please!”
Bow explained that Dupri was “at peace” in his relationship with the pop icon and called Jackson a “beautiful person.”
While Jackson went on to marry her third husband, Wissam Al Mana, from 2012 to 2017, Dupri appeared in Jackson’s Lifetime documentary in 2022 and spoke candidly about their relationship and breakup. While the singer wanted to start a family with Dupri, who proposed to her, Jackson heard that he was cheating, and Dupri admitted to being “reckless.” “Girls wanted to talk to me more because I was dating her, which was really weird. And I was a man,” he said in the documentary.
In a tweet last June, Dupri seemingly agreed that he “fumbled” Jackson.
