Bailey Zimmerman comes by his gritty, down-home sound the honest way. Before becoming a hit-making country superstar, Zimmerman worked at a meat packing facility and on a gas pipeline. That all changed when he uploaded a video of himself performing his own song, “Never Comin’ Home,” to TikTok, where it racked up more than one million views within the day. From there, he funded the professional recording of that same song, releasing it independently. That got Zimmerman a record deal with Warner Music Nashville and Elektra Music Group. The release of his next single, “Fall in Love” followed. It was a smash, topping the Country Airplay chart in record speed.
The hits have kept coming, and include huge songs like, “Rock and a Hard Place,” “Religiously,” “Backup Plan” featuring Luke Combs, and an appearance on BigXthaPlug’s “All the Way.” Beyond topping the charts, Zimmerman is also a charismatic live performer, bringing big-time stage presence and zeal to every show.
On that note, Zimmerman will next take his ability to connect with audiences to the Verizon 5G Home Internet Concerts in the City Series, where he’ll perform a special small-venue show in Dallas on August 28. It will be the final performance of the Verizon 5G Home Internet-sponsored series, which also features concerts from Remi Wolf in Denver on August 5 and Gigi Perez in San Francisco on August 10.
