Universal Audio has announced that the highly anticipated Apollo E Series, including the Apollo e1x Remote controllable Unison Preamp and Apollo e2m Stereo Headphone Amplifier and Line Interface, are now shipping and available to customers worldwide.
First announced in March 2025, the Apollo E Series expands the capabilities of Dante networked audio systems and the Apollo x16D audio interface, allowing engineers to seamlessly integrate Unison preamp emulation, personal monitoring and UAD plug-in processing into live sound, broadcast, and networked studio environments.
Both Apollo E Series devices are designed for convenient mic stand mounting, and are compatible with any Dante audio system, serving as sleek network “endpoints” that utilize Power over Ethernet (PoE) for streamlined setup and operation.
Apollo e1x Remote controllable Unison Preamp
Apollo e1x adds remote controllable Unison mic/line preamps to Apollo x16D interfaces, putting legendary sounds from API, Neve, Manley, SSL, and more on stage, at front of house, or in multi room studio using Dante networked audio.

This networked personal monitor station lets users easily connect headphones, IEMs, powered monitors or wedges, as well as external outboard gear, analog mic preamps, synths, drum machines, and playback devices — anywhere needed.

- Add personal monitor control with headphone amplifier and line I/O to Dante audio networks.
- Easily connect external analog gear, synths, drum machines, amp emulators, and playback devices with e2m’s built in stereo line inputs.
