99Sounds has released Cinematic Sounds, a free collection of cinematic sound effects and loops curated from Flame Sound’s professional sound design libraries.
This new release is a small but carefully selected showcase of premium-quality cinematic sounds from Flame Sounds’ premium libraries. It contains braams, booms, impacts, whooshes, textures, and rhythmic loops, all now available for free as a thank-you gift to the 99Sounds and Bedroom Producers Blog communities.
Cinematic Sounds includes 99 production-ready sounds that cover all of the essential building blocks for modern cinematic sound design. They’re tailor-made for scoring film trailers, editing video content, and producing cinematic music.
You’ll find a variety of low-end hits, tension builders, and cinematic loops that fit perfectly into hybrid orchestral, ambient, or experimental electronic tracks. Everything was created and mastered for instant use, so you can drag these WAV files straight into your DAW or video editor without additional processing.
As the creator of both Bedroom Producers Blog and 99Sounds, and with my 40th birthday just around the corner, I wanted this release to celebrate that the 99Sounds project is still alive.
I started it about ten years ago (five years after launching BPB) as a personal passion project, basically a place to share my field recordings and free sound libraries with fellow producers.
The very first pack was a set of rain and thunder recordings I made in Belgrade. Since then, 99Sounds has grown to host more than forty free sound libraries from talented sound designers around the world.
So this latest release, Cinematic Sounds, feels like a full-circle moment. It combines the premium cinematic sounds from my Flame Sound label with the free sharing concept that built the 99Sounds community to what it is today.
It’s also a preview of what Flame Sound offers to those who need detailed sound design for trailers, films, and games.
I designed this pack to be super flexible. The included cinematic sound effects and loops are equally effective for adding motion and depth to music as they are for sound design projects.
You can layer the impacts and hits with your percussion, use the tension builders for transitions, or layer the loops under your drums for adding texture.
