50 Cent has made it clear that he has a problem with President Donald Trump for showing interest in pardoning Diddy if he’s convicted for sex trafficking and racketeering.
During a news conference on Friday (May 30), President Trump weighed in on Diddy’s federal trial, telling Fox News reporter Peter Doocy that he knows “people are thinking about it.”
Trump admitted that he isn’t watching the trial “too closely” and expressed that he and Diddy haven’t been friendly for “years.”
“I haven’t spoken to him in years. He really liked me a lot,” Trump said, adding that he read “nasty statements” from Diddy after he ran for office.
The response concerned 50 Cent, who posted the clip to Instagram and joked about getting in touch with Trump to not let Diddy off the hook.
“He said some really bad things about Trump, it’s not ok. Im gonna reach out so he knows how I feel about this guy,” the G-Unit head honcho and entrepreneur captioned the post.
50 Cent has reason to be worried, as his name was brought up during Diddy’s trial this week, with Capricorn Clark, a former assistant to the Bad Boy Entertainment founder, alleging that he threatened to kill 50.
Fif reacted in an Instagram post, writing: “Wait a minute. Puffy’s got a gun. I can’t believe this. I don’t feel safe LOL.” In another post, he joked about having to “lay low” from the music mogul.
50 Cent has spoken out against Diddy for years after the two had a falling out in the 2000s, but the vitriol increased when Diddy was sued by his ex-girlfriend, Casandra ‘Cassie’ Ventura. He now plans to air a docuseries in partnership with Netflix about allegations involving Diddy.
The docuseries, which is currently under production, will be produced by Netflix and directed by Alexandria Stapleton.
Fif will serve as executive producer on the project through his G-Unit Film & Television company. Stapleton will also carry an executive producer credit through her House of Nonfiction banner.
