50 Cent, whose reaction to the Diddy trial verdict was delivered with an expected swiftness on Wednesday, would now like his 35 million Instagram followers to look back on, in his words, “the time Floyd [Mayweather] almost got Ray J killed.”

“Remember the time Floyd almost got Ray j killed?” 50 asked fans on Instagram, traditionally his platform of choice, on Thursday. “LOL. Fab did not forget about this shit.”
When sharing this thought, 50 made sure to include audio from Ray J’s infamous Breakfast Club appearance circa 2011. In it, Ray J is heard passionately lamenting what he says was “disrespect” from Fab. Receiving a key mention from Ray at the time was footage of him playing piano at Floyd Mayweather’s house. Longtime readers will recall that alleged post-altercation footage was also circulated around this time.
“I played piano on that motherfucking piano every day,” Ray said back in 2011, as highlighted by 50 on IG this week. “That’s my big brother. We grew up together. If you think I just came over there and sang a song, then you got me motherfucking twisted. I’m always over there.”
Ray J later told Speedy Morman that he and Fab were “good,” adding that he knows he was “tripping that night.”
