Wiz Khalifa was a man of few words when asked about whether he’s a flat-Earther.
The Kush + Orange Juice 2 rapper appeared on the Friday (June 13) episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live, and the host questioned him about his recent flat Earth opinion shared on The Joe Budden Podcast.
While Wiz agreed that he said the Earth is flat around the 5:45 mark of the video below, he added that the controversy about the theory “really don’t matter to me.”
“Because I heard it and I was like, ‘I don’t know. I know Wiz. He seems pretty
bright. There’s no way he thinks the Earth is flat,” Kimmel said.
“Yeah, I mean, you know, whatever makes you guys happy, bro,” Wiz replied, laughing while seemingly dodging the question.
When Kimmel probed whether Wiz’s conspiracy was “a joke,” Wiz repeated himself, saying, “I mean, whatever, dog.”
When Kimmel asked if Wiz was “suspicious” of space exploration, Wiz was confused, asking, “I said that? When did I say that?”
“Maybe a joint number eighteen of the day?” Kimmel joked. “You said you didn’t believe there was much space exploration as we claim.”
But Wiz didn’t have a response on the matter, saying, “I say I lot of stuff.”
Wiz and Kimmel also shared a quick banter about the rapper’s Kush + OJ 2 album cover, which depicts an Earth filled with large marijuana leaves.
“Oh, by the way, the Earth looks pretty round here to me,” Kimmel joked. “So you’re perpetrating the myth is what you’re doing.”
“I didn’t make a flat one on there. It’s round. That’s for you. I didn’t want to scare you,” Wiz added.
Wiz joins the likes of other rappers like B.o.B and Fivio Foreign in questioning whether the Earth is round, although science proves that our planet is a sphere.
On believing that the earth is flat on Joe Budden’s podcast, Wiz leaned into the theory because he’s “traveled so much.”
