Police in Columbus, Ohio have launched an investigation after a viral video showed a man taking a nasty tumble after he was pushed back when he attempted to stage crash a Lil Scrappy concert.
As reported by TMZ, Columbus Police Department Sergeant James Fuqua stated that although authorities were not alerted to the incident at the time, they have since launched an investigation after a video surfaced showing what happened. Lil Scrappy was among the performers at day 2 (May 31) of the Columbus music festival, SUMMER614.

In the clip, which can be seen below, a man appeared to try and rush the stage from the crowd but was quickly pushed back by another man. The stage crasher seemingly hit the concrete violently, landing on his head. Lil Scrappy briefly paused the performance to make sure the individual was okay, because he noticed that he wasn’t moving after he took the fall. Witnesses said that the man was unconscious for several minutes at least and appeared to be bleeding.
It’s not clear who was responsible for pushing the man, whether it was someone involved at the festival or someone from Lil Scrappy’s team. The rapper has not yet publicly commented on the incident, and neither have the organizers of SUMMER614. Fuqua added that the victim hasn’t filed a complaint, and charges will not be filed unless he does.
