Soulja Boy recently crashed out on Drake, and then backtracked. The impulsive rapper hopped onto X and tagged Drake in a (now-deleted) sternly worded post, calling Drizzy a “bitch ass n***a” and threatening that he was “gon show yo pussy ass.”
Not long after, SB reeled in the smoke, suggesting in another now-deleted post that it’s not Drake he has issues with — it’s the people in his corner.
“I rock with @Drake its the people around him Im not stamping,” he wrote.
This is far from Soulja’s first online shot at the Canadian megastar. Last July, Soulja Boy took to X to express that he was disappointed in Drake for how he handled his beef with Kendrick Lamar.
“You disappointed me @Drake,” wrote Soulja Boy. “Doing all them weak ass songs with them n***** look where It got u none of them n***** you collab with or took on tour had yo back @Drake.”
In another rant about the state of the world, Soulja Boy took the chance to let everyone know what he thought about Drake, writing, “PS Drake u went out sad.”
As if that wasn’t enough, Soulja Boy went on to release a one-minute rant aimed towards Drake that told him to stay in Canada.
“Drake, you a bitch, boy,” he said on a livestream. “You can’t even come to America and talk to the president, fuck boy. Stay in Canada, where your bitch ass belongs at.”
“Ya’ll the type of [people] that sue [people] … like Drake,” Soulja Boy continued. “Y’all the type of people that lose a rap battle and sue a n***a. … I’m a real gangsta, bruh. I could never sue a n***a.”
Time will tell if Soulja Boy’s largely one-sided relationship with Drake will ever change. In the meantime, at least there’s a mural of Soulja Boy’s viral “Drake!?” meme in San Antonio.
