Slate Digital has announced the release of two modules for its Virtual Mix Rack flagship mixing plugin that packs over 40 analog modules into a single intuitive digital workspace
The new modules officially introduce modulation effects to the VMR lineup for the first time.
SD-D Chorus is a faithful recreation of a beloved chorus from the 1970s. Featuring the four modes from the original hardware, users can also experiment with different combinations for more sonic possibilities. The intensity of the effect can be adjusted too—something that wasn’t possible on the original hardware.
Custom D Chorus takes the classic tone of the original hardware and gives users an unprecedented amount of control over their resulting signal. They can adjust the depth, delay, and rate of the LFO to their taste, adjust or bypass the built-in high-pass filter, adjust the shape of the LFO, or even randomize it for a totally unique result.
“SD-D Chorus and Custom D Chorus are two welcome, long-awaited additions to the Virtual Mix Rack family,” said Slate Digital CEO John Bastianelli. “We’re excited to bring such a beloved effect to a mixing tool that has proven vital to so many user workflows.”
SD-D Chorus and Custom D Chorus for Windows and Mac (VST/VST3, AU and AAX) are available now for All Access Pass and Complete Access Bundle subscribers. They’re also available for purchase as a bundled perpetual license for $149 USD at PluginFox and from the Slate Digital store.
