Pusha T took direct aim at Travis Scott in the new Clipse track “So Be It,” using the mic to air out what he says is a long-standing issue of disloyalty and two-faced behavior—specifically tied to a private listening session at Louis Vuitton headquarters.

The pointed lyrics reference Scott’s Utopia album and his breakup with Kylie Jenner:

“You cried in front of me, you died in front of me/Calabasas took your b#### and your pride in front of me/Heard Utopia had moved right up the street/And her lip gloss was poppin’, she ain’t need you to eat.”

In a preview of an upcoming New York Times “Popcast” interview, Pusha doubled down on his view of Scott, calling him “shameless” and “corny.”

“You shouldn’t have been here anyway,” he said of Scott being present at the Louis Vuitton session. “Him specifically, too.”

Still, he added, “I don’t take it as personally as I should. It’s Travis; he’s harmless.”

Pusha T Says Travis Scott Is Disloyal

In a GQ interview published Tuesday (June 17), Pusha explained the diss was triggered after Scott played a version of “Meltdown” for Pharrell and Clipse that didn’t include Drake’s verse.

That same verse, which later appeared on Utopia, took shots at Pharrell—Pusha’s longtime friend and collaborator.

“That lack of loyalty. Travis really has that,” Pusha said.

    He didn’t hold back when describing Scott’s behavior, saying, “To me, that really was just like… he’s a w####. He’s a w####.”

Pusha said he’s been distant from the GOOD Music circle for a while now, and Scott’s actions only confirmed why.

“I personally have been removed from that crew and those people for a minute,” he said. “So, that’s where my issue comes in—like, dawg, don’t even come over here with that, because at the end of the day, I don’t play how y’all play.”

He also accused Scott of aligning with whoever suits him in the moment, calling out his role in the 2018 hit “Sicko Mode,” where Drake dissed Kanye West—someone who had helped launch Scott’s career.

“He’s done this a lot,” Pusha said, adding, “He has no picks. He’ll do this with anybody. He did it with ‘Sicko Mode.’”

In the Clipse track, Pusha even claims to have footage of Scott breaking down:

“You cried in front of me, you died in front of me… The net gonna call it the way that they see it/But I got the video, I can share and A.E. it/They wouldn’t believe it, but I can’t unsee it/Lucky I ain’t TMZ it.”

Clipse’s highly-anticipated fourth studio album, Let God Sort Em Out, arrives July 11.
