We are very proud to announce that pointblank Recordings artist, Leah Haworth, has released her latest single ‘Light The Fire’, out now as of 14 November.
A feel-good track for all demographics, ‘Light The Fire’ blends Leah’s signature acoustic warmth with an uplifting, full-hearted energy that’s impossible not to smile at. The song gently unfolds from an intimate, singer-songwriter moment into a bright, hopeful chorus that feels like stepping into sunlight – a celebration of connection, comfort, and letting yourself be lifted by someone else’s presence. It’s one of Leah’s most inviting and emotionally open releases yet, carrying that unmistakable sincerity listeners have come to love from her.
For anyone hearing Leah for the first time: she’s a singer-songwriter from Lancashire, known for her soft, acoustic ballads. She started playing guitar at 11, moved to London at 16 to study at The BRIT School, and has been developing her craft ever since. Her love for songwriting runs deep, and you can feel that emotional honesty in every song she makes.
She joined pointblank music school to study the BA (Hons) Music Business degree before signing to pointblank Recordings in 2022. She dropped her first single with us in February 2024 – “To The Moon and Back” which already cleared 100,000 streams. And the momentum’s still rolling: her 2024 EP, “Here in the Stars,” recently surpassed 300,000 streams on Spotify.
What we love most about Leah is the way she mixes simplicity with real emotion. Her music follows her journey from her teen years into adulthood, told with honesty and warmth in every song. We’re so proud of everything she’s achieved; they’re a testament to Leah’s talent and to the supportive community at pointblank that’s helped her grow from student to emerging folk sensation.
