Latto said she doesn’t think money brings true happiness—and that it’s even “kinda boring.”
The 777 rapper sat down with Speedy Morman, who asked her about her net worth, sharing that Google says it’s $5 million.
“Not true,” she said. When asked if the number is way off or close, she said, “It’s off.”
Speedy asked how off, and she explained that she doesn’t know how the “tax stuff” works, so she decided to stick with $5 million even if that’s “off.”
Speedy wondered if she’s proud of her success.
“Hell yeah,” she said. “Nobody in my family went to college—nobody in my family is a millionaire. I really did that.”
She then revealed that because she was a millionaire at 21, money is “kinda boring.”
“It’s like you grow up fast already being in the industry at a young age, and then when you have a lot of money at a young age too—I think I get the most ‘fun’ spoiling everybody around me now,” she explained. “I spend more money on other people than I do myself. I be so stingy with my money for myself … I don’t think [money is] what everyone should be chasing.”
When Speedy asked what they should be chasing instead, she answered, “True happiness.”
Speedy has asked several high-profile celebrities, including GloRilla, Cardi B, and Will Smith, about their net worths.
Big Glo probably had one of the funniest responses to the question after finding out that, according to Google, she’s worth $2 million.
“Why Google be always thinking they know people net worth?” Glo said. After asking him to explain how to calculate your net worth, she said, “Oh shit, I need a pencil and paper for that huh? I got to get to doing some algebra don’t it.”
Bardi, when asked if she’s worth $80 million, had a very straightforward response.
“I feel like I actually passed almost doing $80 million,” she said. “I make a lot of money. I make a lot, a lot, a lot, a lot, a lot, a lot, a lot of money.”
As for Smith, Google says he’s worth a reported $350 million. When Speedy asked the actor if that was correct, Smith said, “I don’t even know, man. I don’t discuss such things.”
