There isn’t much information about the free version’s features, but the Master page of the interface appears to match the paid version.
Your Kick, Snare, Toms, and Cymbals each have dedicated Attack settings and high and low-shelf filters.
You also have a Master Effects section with compression, saturation, and reverb.
It looks like we’ll have access to dedicated drum pages featuring multi-output routing, mic controls, and tuning options.
Don’t quote me on the assumptions above, but it seems we’re just missing the Advanced page from the premium version, with MIDI mapping options and advanced mic controls.
What I can say for sure is that the kit sounds awesome.
Again, I’m unsure whether the freebie will offer the same variations of each drum and articulation as the premium version (open, dampened, snare cross stick, etc.), but it sounds full of life.
It’s ideal for songwriters who want to record demos with drums that sound real, natural, and not over-processed.
