Join us for an inspiring and informal Short Courses Open Evening on 26 February at 6:30 pm at pointblank London: an event created for passionate, ambitious learners ready to take the next step in music.
Whether you’re a working professional dreaming of developing your DJ skills, a producer keen to refresh your knowledge of modern techniques, a singer ready to level up, or an industry professional looking to specialise in areas such as spatial audio or mixing and mastering, this is your opportunity to explore what’s possible. We’re opening the doors of our London campus and inviting you to experience first-hand how great music education really happens.
This Open Evening is designed for anyone serious about building skills without committing to a full degree. Our short and specialist courses offer a flexible, career-friendly way to study, with evening and weekend options that fit around your life. You’ll learn from the same expert lecturers and use the same world-class facilities as our degree students, choosing from a wide range of courses in music production, sound engineering, DJing, radio, audio and podcasting, and more. With course lengths ranging from weekends, to 3 month short courses and 9 month specialist programmes, plus the option to take curated pathways or individual modules, you can shape your learning journey around your goals.

On the night, you’ll discover why pointblank music school is one of the most exciting places in the world to study music. Our brand-new 30,000 sq ft Shoreditch campus is packed with industry-standard facilities, including a 48-channel SSL Duality Delta desk, Dolby-certified studios, and fully equipped AlphaTheta/Pioneer DJ suites available from day one. Thanks to recent capital funding of £1.7 million from the Office for Students, we’re expanding even further with legendary Neve mixing desks, iconic outboard gear, state-of-the-art podcast studios featuring the LAWO Crystal system, and world-class microphones used on chart-topping records.

Throughout the evening, you’ll explore our studios, take part in an exclusive masterclass, learn more about student life and support, and connect with our expert lecturers and fellow creatives. Whether your ambition is to sharpen your production skills, step behind the decks, break into the music business, or refine your craft in singing, radio, or sound engineering, this is the perfect place to begin. If you’ve ever dreamed of taking your passion for music further, join us on 26 February and discover where your next chapter could start.
