You can snap up UVI’s Dual Delay X right now for just $19 (down from $59) in a 68% off exclusive deal at AudioDeluxe.
Dual Delay X is a 64-bit-only release for Windows 10 and later, and macOS 10.14 Mojave and later, available in AU, AAX, VST, and VST3 formats.
Taking a gander at the product page counter shows that the sale is due to end at midnight (CDT, UTC−5) on October 15, 2025.
UVI dropped Dual Delay X on July 7, 2022, aiming to deliver complex geometric sound field manipulation and feedback shaping within a straightforward interface.
UVI equipped this bad boy with the following modules: Delay, Modulation, Rotation, In/Out, Feedback Shaping, Diffusion, Dispersion, Tape Saturation, and Digital Grit.
If you’re hankering for a more standard delay, then Dual Delay X can deliver that effectively when run at more modest settings.
But as Cameron (Venus Theory) demonstrates on the official UVI demo, the delay sounds can get spicier if you start running it at more extreme settings.
Many of the more striking and unconventional sounds can be accessed by tweaking the dual left and right delay lines with the Rotation and Feedback Shaping modules, as demonstrated in the demo.
The Rotation module gives you a lot of leeway to create distinctive spatial effects with the interaction between the two delay lines, particularly when accentuated by tweaking the other settings and effects.
The Feedback Shaping module can create a wide array of colors and flavors. These range from subtle retro filtering to extreme and creative feedback effects.
You can create these different sounds from this module via its low and high cuts, as well as a four-pot parametric filter.
Users can keep track of all the sonic wizardry going down with dual Stereo and Phase graphical displays at the top of the interface.
The controls are complemented by A/B controls and dozens of presets. You can lock high-level controls such as Mix, Time, and Feedback while browsing presets, which I think is a pretty handy inclusion.

While the interactions between the modules can create a lot of different sounds, the entire delay is controlled via a single panel, which I like, given that everything’s right there at your fingertips.
If all you need is a standard delay, then you can definitely get that elsewhere for less (or free).
However, if you fancy having a lot of different delay flavors and getting creative with the spatial effects, then Dual Delay X would start looking like a pretty good deal at $19.
Dual Delay X requires a free iLok account (no dongle needed) to activate, and also an internet connection for the license activation. UVI provides three activations per license.
