French Montana knows how to dodge a tough question — and this time he turned to the classic “car trouble” excuse.
During an appearance on Rah Ali’s podcast, Sited with Rah Ali, Montana, 40, was asked about the ongoing beef between his friends and collaborators, Drake and Rick Ross. Instead of answering, the rapper cleverly removed his headset and asked Ali to hold onto it for him. “I’ll be right back. I think I double parked my car outside,” he casually remarked before walking off the set — and never returning.
According to an insider who spoke with Page Six, the interview started off well with Montana appearing upbeat as he discussed his growth in the industry and his recent performance at the World Cup. “He walked in and sat down, and they talked about his growth as an artist,” the source stated. But things took a turn when Ali brought up his personal life. “I’ll skip that,” Montana said, quickly shutting down any further questions on the topic and clearly irritated at this point. “I just want to keep my private life my private life.”

The mood continued to shift when the discussion moved to the ongoing feud between Ross and Drake. That’s when Montana abruptly exited. The podcast’s producer, Onsite! Media, continued to film behind the scenes, capturing the awkward moment when Montana, noticing the camera following him, told them to stop recording.
This isn’t the first time the “Unforgettable” artist has walked out of an interview. Back in April, in a video shared by a digital creator and “livestream journalist” of an impromptu interview with the rapper, Montana was initially asked about the 2025 Met Gala. The conversation took a turn when the interviewer asked if he had spoken to Diddy recently, referencing their history as collaborators at Bad Boy Records. In response, a voice that appears to be Montana’s says, “Come on, man,” before he walks away and steps onto an escalator.
As of now, Montana’s team has yet to provide a response to the incident on Ali’s show
