Big Sean has shut down speculation that he has ‘BBL abs,’ explaining that his torso is the one God gave him.
Last year, the Better Me Than You rapper bared his stomach in a promo video for his Complex Shop collection, with his toned abs taking viewers by surprise. After months of whispers that Big Sean purchased surgically enhanced abs, or had gotten his abs etched, health and fitness influencer Blake Sanberg took to Instagram on Monday (July 7) to share his thoughts.
Sanberg started by saying that Big Sean has “extremely defined abs” that appear to be “sitting on top of a bubble gut.” The influencer compared Sean’s physique with shirtless photos from 2015, where the rapper had “deep abdominal cuts.” Sandberg added that Sean’s newer photos could have been edited and explained that his abs weren’t as sculpted in videos.
Sanberg concluded by alleging that Sean had taken steroids or had gotten ab etching, but added that the rapper has “very interesting genetics.”
Shutting down the fake ab rumors, Sean pulled up in the comments to clarify that neither steroids or etching have contributed to his impressive physique.
“Bro, unfortunately mine are real lol,” he wrote. “I got love for the fake [ab] community tho, to each its own, but what makes this funnier is this is the way God made me.”
The rapper joked that he looks like “chewed up tootsie roll” when out of shape. “But i can only speak for myself. I only have to say something cause this shit is getting way outta hand [laughing emoji.”
In another comment, Sean added: “So just to be clear.”
Sean’s spent years being transparent about his fitness regimen, with lifting and self-motivation taking his gains to another level.
