Occult Audio has released Obscura, a free virtual instrument for macOS and Windows designed for creating dark, evolving soundscapes. Obscura is a fun sample-based plugin built around a minimal interface and ten atmospheric drones. This marks Occult Audio’s first plugin that doesn’t require Kontakt or Kontakt Player, so there are basically no limitations to running it in your DAW.
