Whether you’re a fully-fledged horror movie superfan or you just like to embrace the madness of Halloween each year, there’s something strangely appealing about the sound of horror. My favorite sounds of the bunch are the rhythmic finger fret pulses and the textural bow drifts; they are creepy enough to know it’s not good, but vague enough to have you wondering what’s coming next.
Another thing I like about this pack is that it encourages the use of silence, which is equally as powerful as noise in the horror/thriller genres. Many of these sounds are perfect to use sparingly on their own or as part of a more complex layered arrangement.
