Ralo Responds to Criticism of ‘Drag Them Through Mud’ Rem…

Ralo is offering some clarity to those he believes were quick to jump to conclusions in response to a teaser clip from a recent interview. In the clip, as you’ll see deeper into this article, Ralo is asked to share his thoughts on the concept of “polygamy,” although the nature of his comments would suggest it might perhaps be more accurate to state that he was mostly discussing what he feels are the benefits of a polyamorous lifestyle.

At any rate, Ralo, who in 2023 celebrated his release from prison with comeback single “First Day Out,” had this to say in his conversation with Swaggy Sie for The Encore: “I’m a Muslim. We the first to believe in polygamy. I love polygamy.” From there, the Chosen artist pointed to what he feels is the importance and value of having “an understanding” when it comes to relationships involving multiple parties.

“I do honor that women can come together and have an understanding with their man,” Ralo said, adding that he credits this approach to relationships with helping him achieve a “super rich” level of wealth. But it’s what Ralo said a little deeper into a teaser of the interview that spurred some criticism on social media, namely his remarks about supposed differences when it comes to loyalty.

“I won’t ever lie to my girl,” Ralo said when asked whether his partner was aware of the other women in his life. “Shit, we needed to be okay. It was a team. Like, you really can’t trust too many n***as. Women are more loyal than men. N***as always do some lame shit. Women, you can drag them through the mud and they still will remain loyal.”

In response to the “drag them through the mud” excerpt gaining traction on social media, Ralo jumped into the comments of this post from The Shade Room to push back against such talk.

“Never was I bragging about dragging a woman,” he wrote. “My girl ain’t ever had to worry about NOTHING her entire life. I’m saying she never let none of the lame shit I did cause her to do no lame shit to me.”

Swaggy Sie also hopped in the comments, advising those critical of the remark to check out the full interview.

The full interview, available below, does indeed find Ralo being pushed to elaborate on the remark in question. He acknowledged that there are men who might “take advantage” of such loyalty, though he doesn’t see himself as an example of that in action. Instead, per Ralo, he enters such situations “being real” and making it clear that he’s “got a girl.” Furthermore, Ralo said he has no intention to “fuck you over or manipulate you.” Structurally speaking, Ralo had this to offer: “I’ve been doing it all my life. Don’t get me wrong, I hold my girl on a high pedestal. She’s the queen.”
