There’s a lot to cover here, so I’ll start with the freebies and then tell you more about the BPB discount.
ZEKAVEO’s Quantum UI & Computers is a series of SFX packs for futuristic interfaces, computer systems, data processing, glitches, alerts, sci-fi tech, and related sound design.
The first free pack, Quantum UI & Computers – Discovery Edition (UCS), includes 17 files and 21 sounds in WAV format. It combines 5 construction kit sounds and 12 designed sounds, with material in 576kHz/32-bit and 96kHz/24-bit formats. It also includes a commercial sync license.
The newer Quantum UI & Computers – Discovery Edition | Volume 2 is a smaller sampler for the newly released Vol.2 – The Data Within library. It includes 12 sounds: 5 construction-kit sounds and 7 designed sounds covering background processing, one-shots, errors, glitches, and UI sounds. This one is a 126 MB download and also includes a commercial sync license.
By the way, at first I thought the 576kHz/32-bit spec was a mistake, but it’s real. ZEKAVEO is making these high-resolution construction kit files as source material for extreme pitch shifting, time stretching, and further manipulation.
In other words, this is useful if you like taking small UI clicks, blips, and computer tones and turning them into larger transitions, impacts, drones, or abstract textures.
The full Quantum UI & Computers Complete Bundle contains over 2,400 sound assets, split across designed 96kHz/24-bit sounds, a 192kHz/32-bit construction kit, and the flagship 576kHz/32-bit construction kit. The new Vol. 2 – The Data Within covers computer systems, diagnostics, networking, digital interfaces, and futuristic technology, with the Master Bundle listing over 2,700 sounds and 43.5 GB of content.
BPB readers can use the code “BPB_DISCOUNT_ZLIBRARIES_70” for 70% off eligible ZEKAVEO products. The developer notes that the code is one-time use per customer and currently runs until the end of the month. The new Vol.2 library is separate from that code and has its own 20% introductory sale.
The free Discovery Edition packs are WAV sound libraries, so you can use them in any DAW, sampler, video editor, or game engine that supports standard WAV files. ZEKAVEO says the files are organized with metadata and are UCS, Soundly, BaseHead, BWF MetaEdit, Unity, and Unreal Engine compliant.
