SOUNDRAW has launched SOUNDRAW Grid, a sample creation and music production tool for iOS and macOS.
BPB readers can use the coupon code BPBLOG to get a discount on SOUNDRAW Grid. The code gives 15% off the Pro Annual plan in the iOS App Store, bringing it from $99.99 to $84.99.
The bigger discount is available through the Mac/desktop checkout, where BPBLOG works on all plans and gives around 43% off. So, if you want the lowest price, use the desktop option.
SOUNDRAW Grid lets you build samples and loop ideas. Instead of scrolling through a fixed sample library and hoping to find the right loop, you create and shape sample ideas for the track you are working on.
You can start by choosing a genre, mood, and instrumentation, or by describing the sound you want in natural language. From there, Grid helps build loops, stems, sections, transitions, and effects. The workflow is aimed at beatmakers, producers, groovebox users, and DJs who want quick starting points they can finish elsewhere.
In the loop editor, Grid can start with basic drum and chord parts, then let you add bass, melody, and other stems. If one part is not working, you can regenerate it, change the sound with text input, or use effects like high-cut, low-cut, chorus, phaser, delay, flanger, wah, and reverb.
The song editor lets you turn the loop into a longer arrangement by changing section intensity, adding fills, adjusting length, and creating different A/B-style sections from the same idea. You can export the full mix, a mastered full mix, or stems.
The DAW workflow is smooth. Grid can export stems, and on Mac you can drag them into your DAW to keep working with the material as audio. That makes it a useful sketching and sample-building tool rather than a finished-track generator.
SOUNDRAW says Grid is powered by music created in-house by its own team of musicians and producers. The company says it owns the rights to the training data, with no scraped catalogs or unlicensed material involved. The output is cleared for commercial use and distribution.

AI is still a messy topic. Grid is an AI-assisted tool, so everyone will have their own comfort level with it, but SOUNDRAW is being clear about where the source material comes from and how the licensing works.
There is a free plan for trying Grid on iPhone or Mac. It includes loop and pack previews, two download credits per month, and up to three saved projects.
The Pro plan is $12.49/month or $8.33/month annually before the BPBLOG discount, with commercial and personal use, 100 download credits per month, and up to 100 projects. The Unlimited plan is $20.83/month or $16.66/month annually before the discount, with unlimited downloads and projects.
