WideFire is an analogue-style saturation plugin by JMG Sound/United Plugins that takes an interesting approach to audio widening, and now you can get it for 90% off at AudioDeluxe!

WideFire is the result of the developer paying attention to users who wanted to see the stereo widening effect from JMG Sound’s DarkFire in a separate, dedicated plugin.
WideFire is available in AU, VST, VST3, and AAX formats for macOS and Windows.
The interesting approach to audio widening is that WideFire separates the harmonics added during saturation before applying a widening algorithm and blends them back with the original signal.
I picked up this plugin earlier in the year, when it was free for a very short time, and it pretty much does what it says on the tin; it creates a spacious, vibrant sound, with minimal fuss and little to no loss of clarity.
It suits a variety of sources, including vocals, drums, guitars, and keys, and, for the most part, it sounds great, particularly on keys and rhythm guitar.
When you go too hard with the Harmonics Level, it can sound a little unnatural (depending on the source, too), and you can use the high-pass filter to restore some balance.
If you don’t push it over the edge, it has a subtle but impactful effect that is quite lovely.
The simple GUI also features Drive and Output controls, along with a Side Only mode that removes the mid signal.
You can’t go wrong for $3, and you get a nice freebie as a bonus.
