Tyler, the Creator has girlfriends galore in his new music video for “Darling, I.”
Nearly one year after releasing his eighth studio album, Chromakopia, on Tuesday (August 19), Tyler surprised fans with a visual for the album cut “Darling, I.” Costarring as his love interests are actresses Nia Long, Lauren London, Chase Infiniti and Ayo Edebiri, along with alternative musician Willow Smith. Also making an appearance is the song’s featured artist, Teezo Touchdown.
In the most shocking scene from the video, Long leans in to kiss Tyler’s cheek but licks him instead.
Although he refuses to commit to one woman, by the video’s end, Tyler gifts each of them a bloodied and beating heart, which they’re all repulsed by.

On Instagram, the two-time Grammy winner dedicated “Darling, I” to “all the lovers out there.”
Although Tyler released his new album, Don’t Tap the Glass, earlier this month, he’s on the international leg of the Chromakopia World Tour. During a recent interview on Apple Music’s The Zane Lowe Show, Tyler said that he “wanted to be silly again” following his eighth LP.
“Chromakopia was so…I’m not saying it’s the most mature, deep shot,” Tyler told Lowe around the five-minute mark of the video below. “But whether it’s me talking about my relationship with my hair and how that’s affected me, or me almost being a father last year, or the relationship that I have with my father now, just so many things that I decided to dive deep into. After the weight of that got off, I just wanted to be silly again.”
