Soniccouture has announced the first installment of a new series of dual-granular sampler engine-powered instruments which explore the granular synthesis space.
Developed in collaboration with creative audio team K/V (Ramon Kerstens and Richard Veenstra), Polarity | Tension features 4 powerful macro controls which shape and twist the sound with unpredictable results.
User samples can be dragged onto the two waveform areas, and the instrument library comes grain shaping controls, two versatile insert chains, and an IR Reverb module with Soniccouture’s custom impulse library, and more. A selection of 180 presets is included to get you started.

Built entirely from custom recordings of industrial machinery, extended string techniques, abstract vocalizations, and environmental resonances, Polarity | Tension offers a palette that feels intentional, unstable, and alive with detail.
