JT got her lick back on Kali Uchis and surprised her partner Lil Uzi Vert, Kaytranada and Gabbriette during a prank session.
The former City Girls member was a guest on the August 13 edition of ELLE‘s “Phoning It In,” just months after her “Muñekita” collaborator prank called her. During the episode from May, Uchis pretended that a gossip column was planning to report that JT’s “Muñekita” lyrics were AI-generated.
So during JT’s episode, she immediately called Uchis and informed her that someone was about to sue her for stealing their concept for her latest album, Sincerely, which was wholly fictitious. But the Latin pop vocalist didn’t fall for JT’s prank, telling the rapper, “Girl, nobody even shows me mood boards.”
JT told Uchis that the ‘woman’ was “pissed” about not including her in the concept, although she was supposed to be the “creative director.”
After another minute of continuing the prank, JT confessed that it was all a joke. The artist went on to tell Gabbriette that she was invited to be a “bombshell” on Love Island, and Kaytranada to allege that she “stole” a remix instrumental, before calling up her longtime partner, Uzi, to bail her out of jail.
JT predicted that Uzi would cuss her out, which the rapper, who uses them/they pronouns, almost did. The City Cinderella artist put the blame on her niece, Mimi, claiming that she stole from Lululemon.

“They said it’s child neglect, but I wasn’t in the store at the same time. I just went in there to go get them and now they saying I have to go to jail,” JT told Uzi.
A frustrated Uzi agreed to pay her $50,000 bail, but when JT revealed that the clothing theft scenario wasn’t real, her partner hung up.
“I’m literally like laughing so hard and I’m blushing, too, ‘cause my man’s supposed to come get me for $50,000,” JT joked.
When Uchis, who also called Kaytranada, dialed up JT, the rapper thought that ELLE pranks were “fake” and was almost “ready to go off.”
