The next era of Taylor Swift has been revealed.
The pop icon officially announced the title of her album: The Life of a Showgirl.
Swift, 35, joined her boyfriend Travis Kelce and his brother Jason Kelce on their podcast New Heights to share the exciting news.
In a preview uploaded to both New Heights and Swift’s Instagram accounts at 12:12 a.m. E.T. on Tuesday, she leans in and says, “So I wanted to show you something.”
Jason, 37, responds, “Okay. What do we got? We got a briefcase? Mint green, with T.S. on it.”
“Yup,” Swift says multiple times. Next to her, Travis, 35, is smiling as he looks between Swift and his brother.
Jason’s eyes widen, and he says, “What’s in it?”
Swift then opens up the briefcase and pulls something out that is blurred, announcing, “This is my brand new album, Life of a Showgirl.”
Jason erupts into a scream and Travis yells, “T.S. 12!”
The cover remained obscured in the podcast and her website now shows green- and sparkly-orange-themed album art, with the ability to pre-order vinyl records, cassettes, and CD versions. This will be Swift’s 12th studio album and the track list has yet to be released.
Swift had added a countdown to her website on Monday, August 11, which expired at 12:12 a.m. E.T. the following day. Fans immediately began speculating about her announcing a new album, writing, “Omg new album drop!!!????? We are so back guys.”
It was confirmed that Swift would be appearing on the podcast alongside Travis, whom she’s been dating since 2023, with a preview uploaded to X of the two flirting.
Swift compliments Travis who is wearing a blue shirt, saying, “Such a nice color on you.”
He responds, “Yes, I know. It’s the color of your eyes, sweetie. It’s why we match so well.”
Swift smiles and laughs before saying, “We’re about to do a f***ing podcast!”
The full episode of New Heights featuring Swift will be released on Wednesday, August 13 at 7 p.m. E.T. on their YouTube channel.
