Cardi B and Stefon Diggs are putting the ongoing breakup rumors to bed and doing it with a wink and a laugh.
After shutting down rumors of a split earlier this summer, the rapper and the NFL star are now openly poking fun at the chatter surrounding their relationship. The Bronx-bred hitmaker recently shared a photo carousel on Instagram, and Diggs couldn’t resist hopping in the comments with a cheeky reply that expressed how much he’s into Cardi.
“Sniffs BBL 😛” he wrote, a direct and NSFW nod to Cardi’s curvaceous figure. Cardi clapped back with equal flirt energy, “@stefondiggs that’s how I got you stuck.”
The exchange wasn’t just spicy, but also strategic. The couple’s playful banter cleverly addressed a viral fake quote that falsely claimed Diggs said her BBL “smelled bad.” The bogus quote sparked a response from Cardi on Twitter Spaces, where she claimed a rumor like that could never apply to her.
“First of all, I don’t know who made that up,” said Cardi. “But bitch, that’s you … That’s on you, bitch. That could never be me.”
Cardi went on to say that her hygiene is top notch, especially since she used to be a stripper: “Bitch, I was a fucking stripper, you had to smell good all the time […] I was raised by women, like please.”
While she’s clearing the air on her relationship with Diggs, Cardi made the best of her time hosting night 1 of WWE SummerSlam 2025.
The rapper opened the show wearing a black feathered ensemble and teased a new track that could appear on her upcoming album. She was also seen hanging out next to Druski in the crowd and even did an elbow drop on him.
