DirektDSP has introduced a new diffusion-based delay plugin developed in collaboration with Danish electronic music producer and artist Korzana.
Inspired by one of Korzana’s personal FX chains, Chasm is designed for producers and sound designers seeking to create blurry, smeared soundscapes and enhance stereo width.
Chasm combines 7 different effect plugins into one, making your production easier and faster (and lighter on your CPU).
Chasm features
- Custom DSP effect to create signature smeary / blurred sound.
- Stereo enhancement control with Haas effect and M/S processing for width.
- Integrated brightness EQ and character controls for tonal shaping of main effect.
- Built-in MakeItLoud compression and distortion for added loudness and harmonics.
- Accurate parameter smoothing for artifact-free automation and tweaking.
- Comprehensive preset management system with artist credits and categorization.
Chasm is available for macOS, Windows and Linux in VST3, AU and CLAP plugin formats, priced €34.99 EUR. A free 7-day trial is available, and Chasm is also open sourced on GitHub under the AGPLv3 License.
