Turk has announced he was removed from upcoming dates on the Cash Money 30th Anniversary Tour due to disputes over money.
In a recent YouTube video posted alongside his wife and manager Erica “Emani” Virgil, Turk claimed he received a termination notice after refusing to accept a reduced payout. In the video, Virgil alleged that the tour’s agent and promoter failed to pay artists for a show in Nashville that was later canceled.
Furthermore, she claimed that Dope Shows, the promoters for upcoming dates, attempted to offer Turk a reduced payment for his performances, which he declined. Virgil added that his contract was then terminated due to alleged “risk” stemming from a past online exchange with another artist, which she believes is a retaliatory act for refusing the reduced payment. According to Virgil, Turk won’t be performing at the Cleveland, Chicago, or Detroit dates.
“The same day, after I refused to take less money than what the agency and promoters of the Cash Money 30th Anniversary Tour owed me, instead of saying they didn’t have enough money to pay me, I received a last-minute termination notice saying I was a ‘security risk,'” Turk wrote in the video’s caption on YouTube.
While there’s been no official response from the Cash Money camp, some fans believe that Turk’s rumored beef with B.G. could be a factor. The alleged fallout stemmed from B.G. being upset with Turk for missing a previous reunion concert in 2024, which the latter claimed was a result of “business issues.” B.G. took offense to that and called out Turk in a rant that circulated on social media.
“It’s only one n***a ain’t in this bitch, you heard me? He brought that on his self, you heard me? N***a did a bunch of h*e s*** and can’t take it back. He gotta fault his self for not being here,” said B.G. “The n**** know what he did last summer. And I’m a justleave it like that”.
